California Economic Impact Report - August 2009

report

An inaugural study of University of Phoenix’s contributions to the California economy finds that more than 69,000 of the state’s residents have earned degrees from the institution since 2000, notably in critical occupation areas with forecasted long-term shortages, such as healthcare, education and technology. The study, conducted by nationally recognized urban economics firm CBRE Consulting, Inc., establishes that these California graduates have the potential to collectively earn a total incremental income of more than $1.1 billion annually.
