Corporate Credit Recognition Guide

Corporate Articulation

University of Phoenix offers educational opportunities at more than 200 convenient locations, as well as Internet delivery in most countries around the world. To help you continue your education in the most efficient manner possible, we have developed corporate articulation agreements with many corporations across the United States.

Students earn college credits toward degree programs for their in-house training they earned at a corporation. For more information about specific corporate articulation agreements, click in the list below. This will enable you to determine if University of Phoenix has an established articulation agreement with the corporation where you received your in-house training.

Coursework received through in-house training will be reviewed for college-level credit toward degree programs at University of Phoenix. A corporate agreement also gives a student the opportunity to earn college credits through prior learning assessment.

Company articulation submission process:

  1. Company gathers internal corporate training for assessment to include:
    • Course title and number
    • Course clock hours
      1. If courses are listed as lasting ‘one day’ or two days,’ please define the hourly length of a ‘day.’
      2. Indicate when lunch times and/or break times apply.
    • Delivery modality (classroom, lab or self-paced).
    • Year and date of delivery.
    • Include company logo with the submission.
  2. Company submits the training coursework materials to the University electronically.
  3. Company may submit hard-copy materials to University of Phoenix, 4035 S. Riverpoint Parkway, Mailstop CF-LF401, Phoenix, AZ 85040.
  4. The articulation process may take four to six weeks, depending on the quantity of materials.
  5. Upon review, a credit recommendation guide will be provided.
  6. Most company-specific training will not qualify for the evaluation.
  7. Company must own the rights to all curriculum submitted for evaluation.
