Designating Your U.S. or International Employee Status
When calling for additional information, or to enroll, members of Marine Hotel Association must designate if they are U.S. or Internationally-based according to the following requirements:
- U.S. employee: U.S. citizen or holder of a valid visa
- International member: Do not hold a valid visa, permanent resident status or a U.S. citizen with foreign transcripts

Because of this, you may be able to turn prior professional development training or certificates into college credit through Prior Learning Assessment (PLA)*. Get Credit for Your Experience
Professional training, such as coursework you may have completed through Marine Hotel Association may be eligible for college credit through PLA. University of Phoenix and Marine Hotel Association have developed a Corporate Credit Recommendation Guide (CRG) to help you transition your training into college-level credits toward undergraduate degree programs at University of Phoenix.
