Tanya Robinson

A passionate advocate for the less fortunate, Tanya Robinson relishes opportunities to speak on behalf of those who are less able to speak for themselves. This desire made becoming an attorney a natural choice, “I think success in business is making a good living doing a job you love.”
Tanya received her law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and opened The Robinson Law Firm in San Diego. She specializes in general civil litigation, including personal injury, family law, employment law, landlord/tenant and contract law.
Her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree affords this entrepreneur the education to overcome the challenges facing small business owners.
When asked which ‘best practice’ she would share with alumni who may be in the process of opening their own business, Tanya states, “Read everything you can get your hands on … Let the experts do the work for you. There is no such thing as too much information.”
She also recommends creating a network of trusted associates, “I have a great network of friends and colleagues who are specialists in everything from legal information, marketing, graphic design and Web design to networking and client referrals.”
