The University of Phoenix Charlotte North Learning Center is conveniently located to serve busy working adults in the Charlotte, North Carolina area who want to earn their college degrees without putting their lives on hold. This University of Phoenix location in North Carolina also provides our students, alumni and faculty members with access to Student Resource Centers. The Resource Centers are comfortable facilities that provide support and services to help students achieve their educational goals.
University of Phoenix students can take their classes online or on campus, depending upon the degree program they choose. As a student at the Charlotte North Learning Center, you'll attend classes once a week, generally in the evening. You'll also meet weekly with your learning team, a small group of classmates that develop collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills while working together to complete assignments.
If you choose to learn online, you'll log on and learn at times and places that fit your busy schedule. You'll participate with your class three to five days each week depending upon your degree program. Additionally, you'll complete your coursework through electronic forums that enable you to discuss course subjects, download course materials, drop off completed assignments and access materials and notes provided specifically for you by your instructor.
Whether you learn at the Charlotte North Learning Center or online, you'll take just one course at a time. Enrollment is open, meaning you can start your degree program at any time of year and continue your studies without interruption, if you so choose. Flexible schedules and convenient hours make our college courses ideal for people combining the demands of work and family.
