New York Education Nation 2011

New York is the final stop of the national Education Nation tour, partially sponsored by University of Phoenix. During the three-day event, NBC News correspondents, government officials, educators, parents and students will explore how to develop 21st-century skills to advance career growth.

Here you can register for an event in New York—like the 7pm Monday night discussion, Job One: Preparing to Compete in the Global Economy with Tom Brokaw. You can also watch streaming events as they happen or check back as we bring you the ideas and images from New York that can help you make a difference in education in your hometown.

You can also visit the first three stops of our tour in Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia to relive the important conversations that have lead us to our final stop in New York.
