The John Sperling School of Business offers Business and Management programs for graduate-level learners. By joining our community, you become part of a unique learning culture that prepares you for experiences in the real business world.
Our approach drives learning in an engaging and challenging way. Real-life scenarios featured in classwork will challenge you to find real solutions to complex business problems. With each assignment, you’ll face the same kinds of issues and develop the same problem-solving practices used daily by professional managers. In logical, progressive steps you’ll become proficient in the skills required for the business world today—and beyond.
As an MBA student, you will be immersed in a community of like-minded people with various backgrounds. Our learning format helps you establish life-long business contacts and leadership confidence in a culture of encouragement.
For example, besides studying standard business cases, some assignments will require you to work through our Virtual Organizations and simulation resources. In essence, each student plays a key role as a general manager of the organization and has access to simulated true-to-life information. As if it were a real company with HR files, marketing materials, finance analyses, accounting practices, etc. Just as information is sometimes imperfect in actual business situations, you’ll be exposed to scenarios in which some pertinent details are unavailable.
