Success Orientation

Our Doctoral Success Orientation is a seven-day, no-cost online training lab designed to teach you about the University's online learning platform and educational resources.

Foundations for Advanced Learning

The School of Advanced Studies at University of Phoenix is committed to helping you achieve your educational goals. As part of this commitment, we developed a Doctoral Success Orientation exclusively for doctoral learners.

The online orientation session is a seven-day training lab introducing you to the University's learning platform and available educational tools. This training lab is available to you at no cost and provides you with an opportunity to "tour" the online campus before you take your first course.

The orientation's focus is on helping you develop critical competencies based on your completion of a series of exercises and feedback from a qualified faculty member. This will give you practice in using the University's systems and help you become completely familiar with the resources you will use to complete your doctoral degree. Through this orientation program, our goal is to make sure that you are prepared to earn a doctoral degree while being completely comfortable with the technology that you will utilize.

Doctoral programs require three- to eight-day residencies in select cities. Please contact a University enrollment advisor for details.
