The College of Health and Human Services provides a variety of programs that are carefully designed to meet the specific interests of today’s students, as well as the needs of many of today’s health care organizations.
Specifically, our programs are designed by academic professionals, often in collaboration with industry professionals, to ensure quality, relevance and rigor. They are geared toward the practical needs and theoretical context of the health care discipline.
About Our Health Care Programs
Our Bachelor of Science in Health Administration program addresses management, finance, accounting and human resources. This program also has special tracks which focus on health information systems or long-term care.
Similarly, our Master of Health Administration program provides learning in finance, policy, research, technology, quality improvement, economics, marketing and strategic planning. Concentrations in gerontology, health care education, and informatics are available.
Regardless of which health care program you pursue, you will learn from faculty members with substantial experience in the health care field. These faculty members focus on facilitating instruction rather than providing passive lectures. They are dedicated to providing a quality education and helping you achieve your educational goals.
As part of the University of Phoenix educational approach, your learning experience also will focus on problem-solving, active participation, teamwork and application of theory to real-world situations.
