Yes, University of Phoenix. Today’s University of Phoenix is a place where everyone from recent high school graduates to those who might have taken a break from school can easily fit in. What’s more, our degree programs are aligned with today’s needs, meaning we offer areas of study that are in demand by graduating high school seniors—and employers—alike.
Even if you never took senior portraits, never attended prom, or earned your high school diploma in an untraditional way or at a non-traditional time, there’s something for you. As early as your first class, you’ll interact with others who share your passions and interests. And because everyone participates, everyone has the opportunity to make connections that can last a lifetime.
You Have Options
There are multiple ways to earn your degree at University of Phoenix:
- Earn your associate’s or bachelor’s degree online
- Earn your bachelor’s degree at one of 200 locations nationwide
- Get your associate’s degree first, then apply it toward a bachelor’s degree program.* — In fact, because we also offer degrees at both the master’s and doctoral levels, you could complete your entire educational journey with University of Phoenix.
Whether you pursue the online option or choose to attend class on campus, you’ll enjoy the personalized support and resources of our campuses and learning centers available in your community.
How it Works
At University of Phoenix, you can begin earning college credit within weeks of registering for class. — That’s because, when you pursue your associate’s degree, you’ll take two nine-week online courses at a time.
Of course, while there are weekly coursework deadlines and attendance requirements, you’ll also have the option to choose the days and times to log in and do the work. Because you’ll be responding to questions from your instructor, discussion board topics always relate to the current week’s assignments.
If you choose to become a four-year student, you’ll take one five-week course at a time, online or on campus. You’ll also be part of a collaborative Learning Team that discusses assignments and shares some of the workload. You’ll also log into online discussion boards and regularly exchange ideas with classmates.
We Accept Financial Aid
Not everyone has money stashed away to pay their college tuition. Luckily, you’re not in this alone. Every student is assigned a Graduation TeamSM financial advisor, along with an enrollment advisor and academic advisor. While the other Graduation TeamSM members assist with getting you started and keeping you on track, your financial advisor is there to help you navigate the process of paying for college.
