Welcome to the College of Nursing where we’ve been educating nursing professionals to take on collaborative, advocacy, and leadership roles in management, education, and community health for more than 25 years. Our goal is to develop nurse leaders who are excellent communicators, critical thinkers, and who use evidence-based practice to influence the future of nursing and delivery of care.
Our curriculum is developed and reviewed frequently to ensure that programs are current, relevant and meet accreditation and state requirements. Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs meet the rigorous standards of excellence necessary to earn accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
You’ll be in good company
With more than 13,000 currently active Nursing students you are likely to find University of Phoenix College of Nursing students in many health care settings. We have students in all 50 states and across the globe in our online programs and at ground campuses in 17 states. In addition, many of our alumni hold prestigious positions on state boards of nursing, as university faculty and administrators, and in leadership roles in hospitals and other health care areas.
Despite our size, you will learn in smaller, interactive classes from faculty who are the hallmark of our college. We take pride in the dynamic realism these working professionals bring to the classroom as they blend nursing theory with current practice. Each of our faculty members have a master’s degree or higher, and a minimum of five years’ experience. Many of our faculty members are published, conduct research, and present at national conferences. By bringing these accomplishments to the classroom, they demonstrate exemplary nursing practices for BSN- and MSN-prepared nurses.
