Course Description
This course focuses on e-learning for adult learners. Students will apply instructional design techniques, learning theory, and technical tools to propose appropriate e-learning solutions to knowledge gaps and performance challenges.

- Examine the characteristics of e-learning
- Summarize the evolution of e-learning
- Analyze the purposes, benefits, and challenges of e-learning
- Compare and contrast learning theories as they relate to e-learning

- Examine criteria for selecting an appropriate e-learning opportunity
- Discriminate among delivery modalities (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid)
