Do you find financial concepts difficult to understand at times? Do you want to develop your financial acumen? Do you aspire to understand managerial finance in order to provide improvements to your organization? In this course, you learn about the basic legal forms of companies in the United States and how they influence business management. You also develop an understanding of how Agency Theory affects decisions within a business. Finally, you learn about the income statement and balance sheet and financial terms associated with each.

- Differentiate between sole proprietorships, partnerships, and corporations.
Identify the relationship between revenues, expenses, and net income.
Differentiate between assets, liabilities and owner’s equity.
Explain the Agency Theory and why it is important.
