This course informs educators about the power of effective communication through awareness, understanding, and implementation. Emphasis is on the communication competencies, interpersonal communication, active listening, and verbal and nonverbal communication. Participants practice positive instructional strategies, classroom discussions, and facilitation of individual and group work. Participants study the effect of communication related to ethics and diversity.
