This course will prepare students to support Microsoft® Office applications. The student will learn the product features of Word, Excel®, PowerPoint®, Outlook®, and Access®. This course is based on the requirements of the Microsoft® Office Specialist certification.

This undergraduate-level course is 9 weeks. To enroll, speak with an Enrollment Advisor.

    • Diagnose common problems encountered in Microsoft® Word®.

    • Identify the functions of Microsoft® Excel®.
    • Perform tasks using Microsoft® Excel®.
  • Microsoft® Excel® Support

    • Diagnose common problems encountered in Microsoft® Excel®.
    • Troubleshoot common technical issues within Microsoft® Excel®.
  • Microsoft® Access®

    • Identify database principles.
    • Perform Microsoft® Access® tasks.
  • Microsoft® Access® Support

    • Diagnose common problems encountered in Microsoft® Access®.
    • Troubleshoot common technical issues within Microsoft® Access®.
  • Microsoft® PowerPoint®

    • Identify the functions of Microsoft® PowerPoint®.
    • Perform tasks using Microsoft® PowerPoint®.
  • Microsoft® PowerPoint® Support

    • Diagnose common problems encountered in Microsoft® PowerPoint®.
    • Troubleshoot common technical issues within Microsoft® PowerPoint®.
  • Personal Information Management

    • Identify the functions of Microsoft® Outlook®.
    • Perform tasks within Microsoft® Outlook®.
    • Produce a technical manual addressing common Microsoft® Office errors encountered by low-level users.
