This course discusses how Service Design is a part of the overall business change process and how it fits within the overall business strategy. Important concepts covered in this course include service providers, service design path, design management and constraints, and service catalog management. The course covers service level management, availability management, capacity management, IT service continuity management, supplier management and information security management. Students will also learn about Service Transition and its critical components, including management of change and risk, integration with business change and processes that support the Service Lifecycle. The case study approach is continued in this course to enhance the strengthen understanding of ITIL® concepts. This course provides .8 continuing education units, over two 4-hour workshops.
