This seminar provides a forum for the study of management. The seminar draws upon and integrates complex business problem-solving scenarios. Students will define and solve a business problem drawing upon skills and competencies mastered during the program.

    • Explain how companies may rectify the ethical implications of business decisions.
    • Assess the risks of business threats.
    • Identify business tools necessary to compete in the 21st century.
    • Develop strategies to overcome business challenges.
  • Strategic Perspectives in Management

    • Evaluate crisis management strategies and their ethical implications.
    • Analyze the alignment between competing strategies in an organization.
    • Analyze how different types of organizations use strategic analysis and planning.
  • Systems Perspectives in Management

    • Explain how the systems approach may affect each subsystem within an organization.
    • Propose strategies to minimize systems failures within an organization.
    • Propose solutions to businesses with competing constraints.
