This course applies student understanding of organizations and project management to the development of a consulting project. The course requires students to synthesize and integrate theory and practice from all prior courses in the program.
Determine the financial viability of the project through cash flow analysis.
Make recommendations based upon project analysis results.
Project Planning and Development
Develop the project scope and schedule.
Develop project risk management plans.
Develop the project budget.
Determine strategies to execute the project.
Proposal Delivery and Communication
Identify internal and external stakeholders.
Develop strategies to manage conflict, power, and politics.
Create internal and external persuasive communications.
Implementation
Determine strategies to monitor and control the project.
Identify tools for the implementation plan.
Create an implementation plan.
Evaluation
Develop methods and tools to measure project effectiveness.
Present the consulting project.
