Course Description This course evaluates alternative practices to manage risk in a global environment. Topics include measuring risk (economic, financial, political, etc.), creating tools to predict where to invest internationally, financial instruments of global investment, and techniques to mitigate risk.

Course Competencies

  • Assess economic, financial, and political risks in doing business globally.
  • Apply a global mindset, including a cultural lens to risk assessment.
  • Determine characteristics of ethical leadership in risk management.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risk in the global marketplace.
  • Evaluate investment strategies for a global enterprise.
