This course provides refinement of physical assessment skills focusing on the assessment differences needed to recognize abnormal findings across the life span, especially with the geriatric population. Communication, health histories, and psychosocial impacts will also be explored in the development of holistic health assessment skills.

- Define health.
- Describe the applications of health assessments.
- Develop a comprehensive patient interview.
- Describe the importance of conducting a comprehensive patient interview.

Head, Ear, Eyes, Nose, Throat (HEENT), Lymphatic And Neurological Systems
- Identify common assessment findings, risk factors, and primary prevention strategies of the HEENT, regional lymphatic, and neurologic systems.

Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, and Lymphatic Systems
- Identify common assessment findings, risk factors, and primary prevention strategies of cardiovascular, pulmonary, and regional lymphatic systems.

Gastrointestinal (GI) and Genitourinary (GU)
- Identify common assessment findings, risk factors, and primary prevention strategies of GI and GU systems.

Musculoskeletal And Integumentary Systems
- Identify common assessment findings, risk factors, and primary prevention strategies of musculoskeletal and integumentary systems.
