This course examines theory and research relevant to changing individuals, groups, and organizations to enhance and improve their overall effectiveness. OD interventions are discussed, specifically examining the role of the I-O psychologist, type of change, and focus of intervention (individual, group, or organization). Furthermore, students will learn how to integrate psychological theories regarding small group theory as related to leadership, motivation, interpersonal influence, group effectiveness, conformity, conflict, role behavior, and group decision making.
