Participants examine fundamental concepts in human growth and development for school-aged individuals to determine developmentally appropriate classroom interventions and expectations. Identification and discussion of major theories and theorist’s perspectives related to physical, cognitive, language, and psychosocial aspects of development are explored. Participants also discuss factors related to developmental delays.
