This course applies quality control techniques to project development and implementation. Students will create a continuous quality-improvement plan for projects within an organization. Other topics include scheduling, quality planning, quality assurance, scope management, schedule control, and quality control.

  • Introduction to Project Planning

    • Determine strategies to execute the project.
    • Determine strategies to monitor the project.
  • Influencing and Controlling Projects

    • Determine informal strategies to influence projects.
    • Determine strategies to control projects.
  • Introduction to Quality Improvement

    • Define goals of quality management plans.
    • Define organizational responsibilities and interfaces for projects.
    • Determine project management tools.
    • Evaluate the impact of environmental risks on projects.
  • Quality Improvement Planning

    • Create quality-improvement plans for projects within an organization.
