Students will develop knowledge about decision theory, judgment, and problem-solving research related to areas such as vigilance behavior, employee selection, choice behavior, and human performance in complex environments. This course examines Brunswik’s Lens Model, Bayesian inference, subjective expected utility, prospect theory, and the cognitive information-processing paradigm.
