The Measure component of DMAIC focuses on the documenting the current process, exploring current measurements, and determining baseline performance. In this course, students will explore a variety of charting and data analysis techniques used to document flow and determine performance of a process. Students will be introduced to various tools used to measure process performance such as variable measure systems analysis, mid-level process maps, current state value streams, and capability analysis.
