Applications Of Technology Management –

This is an integrative course and the capstone for the MBA/TM program. The outcome is to apply a range of skills from the individual courses in the technology management program to develop a change management plan to implement, build, and initiate a technology product or infrastructure in an organization.
This graduate-level course is 5 weeks. This course may be available to take individually or as part of a degree or certificate program. To enroll, speak with an enrollment advisor.
  • Analysis and Findings

    • Sort and compile data.
    • Derive findings.
    • Develop a strategy and present findings.
  • Consultative Research and Applications

    • Examine data collection and analysis tools.
    • Design process-consulting research.
    • Conduct process-consulting research.
  • Findings, Conclusions, Recommendations, and Limitations

    • Develop and evaluate findings, conclusions, recommendations, and limitations.
    • Review project status.
    • Evaluate implementation tools and resources.
  • Problem Identification and Client Strategies

    • Analyze strategies to build client relationships.
    • Compare and contrast problem identification tools and methods.
  • Process Consultation Models and Research Techniques

    • Review organizational research types.
    • Compare and contrast consultation models.
    • Evaluate the skills and competencies of a process consultant.
  • Process Consultation Project Presentation

    • Integrate process consultation skills, client expectations, and project and program outcomes.
    • Critique the effectiveness of project consultation recommendations.
