This course extends Web programming to include XML. An emphasis is placed upon the appropriate use of XML as a programming tool.

    • Explain CSS and XSLT's relationship to XML.
  • XML Structure

    • Explain schema's.
    • Compare DTD and XSD.

    • Create an XML schema.
  • Stylesheets

    • Explain style sheets.
    • Compare CSS, XSL and XSLT.
    • Create an XML document using a style sheet.
  • XML Websites

    • Evaluate an XML website.
    • Identify XML publishing issues.
  • WEB 2.0

    • Explain XML's role in Web 2.0.
    • Create an XML-based Web 2.0 website.
