This course builds upon a professional understanding of web design and development, emphasizing the trend towards website commercialization. Topics of this course include web-based interfaces, online supply chain management, eCommerce tools and techniques, branding, basic marketing strategies, and Search Engine Optimization.

Integration

Ecommerce Tools and Techniques
- Explain shopping carts.
- Explain payment gateways.
- Describe guided navigation.
- Describe affiliate programs.
Marketing
- Identify methods of interpreting customer satisfaction levels.
- Describe integrated e-customer relationship management.
- Describe marketing techniques such as interactive marketing, database marketing, and branding.
Search Engine Optimization
- Describe web site analytics.
- Explain methods of search engine optimization.
