Engaging Students With Lessons On-Demand
Through a partnership between University of Phoenix and GOOD Education, Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy — a nonprofit with a new model for helping kids learn — discusses his philosophy of education on-demand. Khan believes the future of education is in project-based learning that takes place in larger classrooms; here, students are empowered to self-direct their own pursuit of knowledge at their own pace, with the help and guidance of their teachers. He developed these groundbreaking concepts after successfully tutoring his cousins halfway across the country.
