As a faculty member, my goal is not only to provide a quality education but also to assist students with their confidence and self-esteem. Students have to believe in themselves to be successful.

Courtney Anderson

Axia College of University of Phoenix

Courtney holds a juris doctorate degree from University of Texas School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the Texas A&M University System. She has been a University of Phoenix faculty member since 2005. She teaches course subjects including business, management, and criminal justice.

Courtney, who has nine years of experience as an attorney, owns a law office and consulting and corporate training firm. Additionally, she serves as an on-air legal and business expert for several news organizations and has appeared in major publications as an expert and analyst.

Growing up, I always knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to teach at the college level. I love what I do and I put all of my passion into teaching and inspiring others to love learning.

Marvin Frohock

Axia College of University of Phoenix

Marvin Frohock, who holds a Master of Arts, teaches history and humanities courses at the associate’s level. He also serves as Humanities Area Chair. He says he enjoys interacting with colleagues and with Academic Affairs to make University of Phoenix the best place to receive an education.

Marvin’s experience includes teaching humanities courses at Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, Okla.

University of Phoenix offers options to students who otherwise might not be able to attend school due to family and work obligations. I want to be part of that.

Raina Knox

Axia College of University of Phoenix

Raina holds a Master of Business Administration from Baker University. She teaches business classes at the associate’s level at University of Phoenix. Raina has worked in the corporate world for more than 25 years. She focuses mostly on management, process improvement and information technology.
