article-ist-5-must-have-iphone-apps-for-university-of-phoenix-students

University of Phoenix students are known for being some of the busiest and the most on-the-go people. Every day, students juggle a full-time job, family responsibilities and of course, school.

Since time is often not a luxury for many students, smartphones become their portable educational tools. And since University of Phoenix students need instant access to information, we've developed a list of iPhone apps that get them the information they need, when they need it.

1. University of Phoenix Mobile ($0.00)
Not only are University of Phoenix classes available anywhere there's Internet access, they're also available on the iPhone. University of Phoenix Mobile iPhone app gives students the ability to interact in online classroom discussion forums and receive real-time alerts when grades, new threads or responses to discussion questions are posted. The mobile app is complimentary to all University of Phoenix online students, and it only requires an eCampus login ID to get set up.

2. iStudiez Pro ($2.99)
The iStudiez Pro app helps students organize their course schedules, track homework assignments and grades, and it will even send an alert about impending due dates or class times. With a built-in planner, this app keeps all course details, assignments, instructors, office hours, phone numbers and email addresses in one app. And don't worry about losing data. Everything stored through iStudiez Pro can be exported and sent through email.

3. Evernote® ($0.00)
With everything else on a University of Phoenix student’s mind, remembering to keep a record of every important detail can be impossible. That's where Evernote comes in. The Evernote iPhone app helps students save text, photos and voice notes on their online Evernote account. Once saved, notes are accessible on virtually any device, including PCs, tablets and smartphones.

4. Dictionary.com© ($0.00)
When working on a paper or formulating the perfect response to a discussion board question, a little extra help is sometimes necessary to find the right words. The Dictionary.com app is the perfect writing companion, which includes more than 2 million words with definitions, and a thesaurus for finding the right synonym or antonym.

5. LinkedIn® ($0.00)
One of the biggest benefits of being a University of Phoenix student is all of the networking opportunities available in the classroom. To maximize these benefits, students can use LinkedIn as a sort of online Rolodex® for all their professional contacts, and also as a personal online resumé. The LinkedIn iPhone app allows students to easily connect and access all of their professional connections wherever they are. Through the LinkedIn app, students can also benefit from the industry information and job postings that other professionals often share on the social network.
