The program is designed to align with leading industry and academic organizations like the American College of Healthcare Executives© (ACHE) and Association of University Programs in Health Administration© (AUPHA).

You’ll explore the different facets of healthcare and the qualities needed to run organizations smoothly and address changes as necessary. You’ll also have the opportunity to choose from four elective tracks: Health Administration, Health Information Systems, Lifespan Management and Retail Health Management. The core curriculum addresses areas relevant to:

Since our BSHA has met the Healthcare Information and Management System Society’s (HIMSS) rigorous standards for quality health IT or healthcare education, we’ve been named an Approved Education Partner (AEP) of HIMSS. Our BSHA program is aligned to the HIMSS Certified Associate in Health Information & Management Systems (CAHIMS) exam, which prepares you for advanced knowledge in health IT or healthcare.

 


 

Bachelor of Science in Health Administration with a Long Term Care Certificate:

Complete your health administration degree online in this program that allows you to earn a Long Term Care Certificate while earning your Bachelors of Science in Health Administration. In the Long-Term Care classes, you’ll focus on creating plans and needs analysis that support anyone who needs long-term care — children and elderly alike. You’ll apply managerial principles to the administration of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult day care, home health services, and other long term care settings and agencies serving the elderly and disabled in this program. You’ll get instruction in:
