MASTER'S DEGREES


 

Master of Health Administration with concentration in Education:

As a graduate of this program, you’ll be able to deliver health education to a variety of audiences including schools, colleges and universities.

 


 

Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse Education:

This CCNE accredited graduate degree program will prepare you to take on a leadership role in a variety of educational environments. Students can choose from two paths: Those RNs with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing can begin the master program immediately. Those students who are RNs who hold a bachelor’s degree in another area can take four introductory courses to get them up to speed before beginning their master’s degree in the Nurse Bridge Program. You’ll complete a practicum project that involves 60 hours of work across two courses — with help from an assigned faculty member to mentor you.  The curriculum in this online health education degree covers content necessary to becoming an effective healthcare leader and teacher including:

  • advanced nursing practice
  • nursing role development
  • curriculum and instruction
  • program and course design
  • clinical instruction
  • evaluation of learning

Financing a health education degree online or on campus can be difficult, which is why eligible students can take advantage of the Master Nurse Leadership Scholarship and earn up to $2,500 or $5,000 in tuition reductions as you progress toward your MSN with the Master Nurse Leadership Scholarship.  Learn More (link to scholarship details).
