The University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies offers two online Ph.D. programs in education and psychology. These online Ph.D. programs are designed to prepare today's leaders for tomorrow's world through rigorous, intensive courses that provide learners with the expertise and intellectual competence to develop, produce, and publish high-quality original research.

Online Ph.D. Program in Higher Education Administration

The online Ph.D. program in Higher Education Administration prepares you for scholarship, practice and leadership in post-secondary educational environments. Throughout this online Ph.D. program, you explore higher education through various lenses, with emphases on the ethical responsibilities of higher education institutions for developing strong communities and a knowledge-oriented workforce.

The online Ph.D. program in Higher Education Administration provides opportunities for academic inquiry into education and its historical, philosophical, and sociological premises alongside depth of study of the management and leadership of educational institutions.

Online Ph.D. Program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology

Students entering the online Ph.D. program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology can begin the program with completion of a bachelor’s degree. This online Ph.D. program prepares you for industrial/organizational psychological research, consulting, and instruction with emphasis on employee issues, organizational development, human resource management, and research expertise.

The University of Phoenix also offers several other online doctoral degree programs.
