University of Phoenix offers working adults access to online teaching courses that provide practical solutions to their educational needs. Whether you are completing an education degree or supplementing your professional teaching skills, you can complete online teaching courses one class at a time through the College of Education at University of Phoenix.

Undergraduate and Graduate Online Teaching Courses

Online teaching courses and teacher licensure preparation programs are available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. At the bachelor's level, the Bachelor of Science in Education/Elementary Teacher Education requires candidates to complete at least 100 hours of verifiable field experiences, student teaching, and 60 credits of online teaching courses.

Master’s and doctoral teaching degrees can also be completed online with teaching courses, student teaching and field-based experience. College of Education program offerings do vary by location, so be sure to check with an enrollment representative to find out which programs are available in your area.

We also offer online Continuing Teacher Education (CTE) courses that enable teachers to expand their knowledge and earn credits they may need for potential recertification, endorsements or professional growth.* These online teaching courses are developed for experienced teachers as well as those entering the teaching profession.
