Shanna Thompson Zareski
As editorial manager for the Knowledge Network Initiative, Shanna Thompson oversees the editorial calendar, manages content, and interfaces with internal stakeholders to help enhance the University as the expert voice of the working learner.
Previously, Thompson served as the health editor for LifeScript, a women’s health and wellness website. Prior to working at LifeScript, she served as the associate director of development for the University of Southern California’s Ethel Percy Andrus Gerontology Center, where she managed all the department’s editorial needs.
Thompson also has more than a decade of experience writing and editing for various publications, including newspapers, magazines, and websites.
She holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California and a bachelor of business administration from Gonzaga University.
