Phoenix Races for a Cure

PHOENIX, October 10, 2008 — University of Phoenix called all employees, students, faculty and alumni to put on their running shoes and Race for a Cure, and they did!

Through the months of September and October, over 1,070 individuals registered for the University of Phoenix team and between the Apollo sponsorship and employee giving, University of Phoenix donated over $115,000 to the Susan G. Komen Phoenix affiliate!

University of Phoenix employees, students, faculty and alumni continue their enthusiasm and commitment to social responsibility. The result: one step closer to finding a cure for breast cancer.
