The Gift Of An Education - A Full-tuition Pay It Forward Scholarship

Alumni Of University Of Phoenix Utah Campus Can Submit Nominees Until October 16

SALT LAKE CITY, UT , September 24, 2009 — University of Phoenix alumni in Utah are being asked to "pay forward" their success to individuals whose lives could be improved by completing a college education. Alumni can nominate family members, friends, colleagues or community members for one of the University's 30 Paying It Forward® Scholarships. The deadline is October 16. All tuition for the scholarship recipients will be covered and each may select the undergraduate degree program of their choice and choose to complete their degree either online or at their local campus.

In 2006, in celebration of its 30th anniversary, University of Phoenix launched the Paying It Forward Scholarship Program. Each year, 30 University alumni identify 30 deserving individuals who could change their lives and the lives of others through a college education

Utah was very prominent in 2007 when local residents earned four of the 30 national scholarships awarded annually. Their stories can be found here:
