- University of Phoenix Launches Next Generation of Nursing Education Through Immersive Learning Center
A patient with late-stage pancreatic cancer is refusing anti-depression medication and has signed a Do Not Resuscitate order against his family’s wishes. The family is frantic at the patient’s bedside, and patients in nearby beds are becoming alarmed and agitated. The nurse overseeing this patient’s care has a dilemma on her hands that has nothing to do with providing basic nursing skills.

- University of Phoenix Springfield Campus to Offer Day Classes
University of Phoenix will offer day classes on its campus at 1343 E. Kingsley, Springfield, MO. Beginning mid October, undergraduate courses in the general education curriculum will be available Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. with core business and FlexNet® classes on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. FlexNet® is structured for students who need the scheduling flexibility of online learning but also prefer some face-to-face class meetings.
