Brice Gyurisko, MPA
Brice Gyurisko served for 30 years as a military police officer in the U.S. Army and has also been a patrolman, patrol supervisor, chief of police and director of public safety. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Jacksonville State University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Homeland Security. He’s taught Criminal Justice courses online and at the Central Florida Campus since 2006.
Over the course of his military career, Brice advised Army senior leaders on law enforcement, anti-terrorism and homeland defense strategies. He served as team chief of the Army's force protection assessment team, assessing strengths and weaknesses in the areas of physical security, law enforcement, anti-terrorism, corrections and information operations. He was also a contributing author to the book "Combating Terrorism in the USA: Protecting the CONUS from Terrorists."
Currently a regional security manager for a private contract security company, Brice holds a Security Agency Manager license in Florida and is a Certified Homeland Security Professional through SIG Homeland Security.
For over 28 years he has been a member of the Association of the United States Army, the Military Officers Association of America and the Orlando All Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association.
