Erin Reyes-Smith, MAOM

Erin Reyes-Smith spent 18 years with the Oregon State Police and ultimately reached the rank of Sergeant before retiring. She is currently the Area Chair for Criminal Justice Administration at the Oregon and Southwest Washington campuses where she has been teaching since 2005. She holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix.

Over the course of her career with the Oregon State Police, Erin served on patrol, crash reconstruction and legislative security as well as hired, managed and trained police personnel. She was also the Cultural Diversity Coordinator and developed racial profiling training as well as a strategic plan for recruiting women and minority officers.

Erin was named 2008 Faculty of the Year for the College of Health and Human Services.
