Evelyn Anderson, PhD

Evelyn Anderson retired after spending 55 years in the nursing field and now shares her expertise by teaching nursing courses online and at the San Diego Campus for University of Phoenix. She has a doctoral degree from the University of Surrey in Guildford, England.

She specializes in the areas of menopause, role theory, as well as nursing and student stress and role overload. She's a former assistant professor at University of California at San Diego where she also ran a menopause clinic.

Evelyn has been published in Yale Nursing Matters, the official publication of the Yale School of Nursing. She has been teaching with University of Phoenix since 1992.
