Jeffrey Gordon, MAOM

Jeffrey Gordon has taught criminal justice courses for University of Phoenix since 2001 and is currently stationed at the Yokosuka Navy Campus in Japan. He earned his Master of Arts in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix in 1999, and is the University’s 2004 and 2006 PRIDE Award winner and the 2008 Above and Beyond Award winner.

Jeffrey worked at both the local and federal level during his 20-year career in law enforcement. While he was Deputy Sheriff of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, he won a Letter of Commendation and a Bronze Star Distinguished Service Award. He also won three Special Achievement awards as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service.

Jeffrey is currently the owner and operator of Gordon and Associates Private Investigations in California, and is a certified Healthcare Safety Professional and a Certified Hazard Control Manager.

He has been a certified instructor and proctor for California’s Commission on Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST), a basic life support instructor trainer and instructor for the American Heart Association, an instructor trainer and instructor for the National Safety Council, and the Vice President of the Board of Directors for Pets are Worth Saving (PAWS).
