Leslie Baker, MA

Leslie Baker is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has been working in the field of psychotherapy for over 25 years as a graduate-level teacher and professional, as well as a private practitioner. She teaches a variety of psychology, counseling and development courses at campuses in and near San Jose. Leslie has a bachelor's degree in child development and family studies from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a master's degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara.

She specializes in family counseling and individual, couple and adolescent psychotherapy. Leslie's areas of expertise include trauma recovery, mood disorders, anxiety, divorce, parenting, eating disorders, chemical dependence and the psychology of women and adolescents.

Leslie has taught graduate-level clinical psychology for 18 years and is an experienced workshop and group facilitator. She has a broad range of experience working in non-profit, community and county agencies. She's a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Leslie was awarded University of Phoenix's Faculty of the Year in 2008 in the College of Health & Human Services.
