Leslie Miller, PhD

Leslie Miller is a consultant with more than 16 years of experience researching, teaching and working directly with organizations to help them acquire, develop and retain the talent they need to support business strategy and achieve desired business results.

Her expertise includes defining organizational competency models and behavior standards, designing performance improvement/management tools and knowledge tests, customizing and facilitating leadership training programs, providing assessment-based executive coaching, and designing and implementing business impact evaluation studies. She works with leading organizations in health care, pharmaceutical, high-tech, financial and transportation industries.

Leslie, who began her career at University of Phoenix in 2004, has taught in the College of Social Sciences and the College of Education and currently teaches in the School of Advanced Studies. She holds a master’s degree in experimental/cognitive psychology from Washington State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Maryland.
