Liz Dietz, EdD

Liz Dietz has been a registered nurse for more than 40 years and has taught nursing at the university level for more than 28 years. She currently teaches nursing courses at the University of Phoenix Bay Area Campus. She holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of San Francisco.

Liz is an expert in the areas of disaster services/management, public/community health and school-based health care. She works with the Silicon Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross, where she has been a registered nurse volunteer for more than 25 years, and is a member of the Disaster Services Human Resources Team. She is also a member of Santa Clara County Medical Volunteers Disaster Relief.

Liz is a professor emeritus at San Jose State University where she spent 28 years teaching in the School of Nursing.
