Marilyn Klakovich, DNSc

Marilyn Klakovich has been a registered nurse for more than 35 years and teaches nursing courses in the University of Phoenix College of Nursing. She has a doctoral degree in Nursing Science and is a member of the National League for Nursing.

She is also the Director of Continuing Education and Program Evaluator for the Second Careers and Nursing Program in the School of Nursing at Azusa Pacific University, a Christian university located near Los Angeles. In addition, she teaches in Azusa Pacific's Center for Advanced Professional Studies. She is a research mentor for the Nursing Research Fellowship Program at CHOC Children's Hospital of Orange County.

She has presented internationally on topics including program development, instrument development and interpersonal communication for nursing students. She is the past president of the Iota Sigma Chapter of the Honor Society for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI).
