Nancy Wood, PhD
Nancy Wood has more than 20 years of human resources management experience and teaches business management courses online for University of Phoenix. She has a doctoral degree with a specialization in health care administration, a master's degree in human resource management and a master's degree in business. She is the human resources director for a leading Chicago retail jeweler.
Her human resources career spans the areas of employee relations, planning, project management, leadership styles, employee training, benefits, compensation, OSHA, employment law, customer service initiatives and risk management.
Nancy completed her dissertation on the study of the relationship between leadership styles of executives and job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job empowerment of their employees. She is a 10-year member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
