Pam Holloway, PhD

Pam Holloway brings over 22 years of nursing experience to the classroom. Her focus is on medical-surgical and psychiatric nursing, as well as the legal ramifications that are inherent in all areas of nursing.

She is based in Idaho and teaches nursing courses online at University of Phoenix, where she started in 2005. Prior to August of 2009, she also directed the nursing program at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, Idaho.

She is currently in the process of researching and writing her first book on caring for the living after the death of a significant other.

When she's not teaching, Pam is self-employed as a Legal Nurse Consultant. In this role, she works with lawyers in the Northwest as a consultant on cases involving medical issues, primarily surrounding nursing. In her position, she conducts research, forms and shares opinions, gives depositions and testifies at hearings.

Pam has a Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of Idaho. She was the Southcentral Director of the Idaho Alliance of Leaders in Nursing from 2006-2008.
