Ray Crum, MSE

Ray Crum began teaching at University of Phoenix in 2001 and brings with him over 25 years in the engineering and project management field. Ray uses his Master of Science in Engineering and first-hand knowledge of aerospace projects to bring real-world experience to his classroom.

Currently, Ray is the Senior Technical Manager at Honeywell Aerospace. As Lead Project Engineer for the Orion program, he is developing avionics and software for NASA’s next generation human spacecraft. Prior projects have included design, analysis and testing of satellite control systems and equipment.

Ray has authored numerous papers on space travel, satellite electronics and avionics, and presented these papers at conferences around the country.
